Joni Cholwich serves as Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. She currently leads several strategic initiatives and works closely with the Human Resources team to drive the people agenda.

An experienced human capital and consulting professional, Cholwich has specific expertise in future workforce and capability development across a broad range of industries. For more than 12 years, she has worked closely with clients across the Abu Dhabi and UAE federal governments to ideate, develop, and execute large-scale strategic human capital development programs, aligned to a broader shared vision of the industry ecosystem’s future demands.

She began her career in global consulting, spending seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa and KPMG in the UAE. During this period, she advised various client organizations on critical human capital initiatives, including diversity, localization, inclusion, women in business, global mobility, and other strategic priorities.

Cholwich earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Oxford Brookes University.
